Nearly 1,200 islands and islets: like Greece, Croatia is a country turned toward the sea. The "Magistrala" is a 400 km coastal road that runs along the Dalmatian coast in a postcard setting between sea and mountains. Some towns have preserved beautiful Roman remains or a medieval charm: Dubrovnik, Split, Trogir, Sibenik, or Zadar. The mountains are never far: just a few dozen kilometers take you to Krka National Park and to Plitvice Lakes National Park, a true masterpiece of nature. You may occasionally encounter bears, wolves or lynx.
The itineraries, lovingly crafted for you, are an absolute treat! Far to the south, in Montenegro, are the Boka Kotorska, a splendid bay made up of four inner gulfs. The site is listed as a World Heritage Site.
The islands offer adorable roads punctuated by villages and dream coves, notably on Hvar, Brac, Pag, Losinj, Rab or Cres. A ferry crossing is often necessary to reach them. In the north, Istria is our favorite. Bordering Slovenia, the region keeps close ties with its Italian neighbor, and Verdi's language is still very present... Beyond the beautiful coastal towns of Porec, Rovinj and Pula, Istria is home to magnificent medieval hilltop villages amid vineyards, such as Motovun or Groznjan. And if you arrive in Zagreb, the capital, why not enjoy the atmosphere of its old town, Gorjni Grad.
