Not far from home, Ireland is a concentrated dose of happiness for riders. It proudly displays its uniqueness and a strong identity, shaped by Celtic culture. In the east, Dublin is the cradle of Irish pop-rock culture, symbolized by the band U2. Just south, the Wicklow Mountains offer some of Ireland's wildest landscapes. In the south, Kilkenny is one of the country's most attractive cities, with its medieval lanes and impressive castle!
The southwest, with its jagged coastline, is the most beautiful part of this enchanting island. Starting from Killarney and its national park, you should ride the Slea Head Drive in the Dingle peninsula and the famous Ring of Kerry. You'll find charming little fishing villages sheltered in protected bays, lighthouses lost in the landscape, impressive cliffs (including the extraordinary Cliffs of Moher), dolmens (in the Burren region), and even passes such as Conor Pass or Healy Pass. A real treat! It's also nice to stroll through small towns like Kenmare, Bantry or Kinsale.
In the west, Galway, with its pubs and typical atmosphere, guards the gateway to Connemara: a magnificent wild region dotted with lakes, rivers, moors and peat bogs, as well as coves and beaches worthy of the Tropics!
Less visited, Northern Ireland is coming back to life. If Belfast is an opportunity to walk in the footsteps of the Titanic, this part of the island, facing Scotland, holds great surprises, like the Giant's Causeway.
