Enjoy your day discovering the city, strolling and shopping.

We particularly like the West End near Stanley Park for its relaxed vibe, seaside walks, and local bars and restaurants.

Take the small ferry to Granville Island and its large public market.

Kits Point features the Vancouver Maritime Museum, Kitsilano Beach, and Elsje Point with beautiful skyline views.

For a panoramic perspective, go up to the Lookout Tower in downtown.

Late afternoon transfer to the rental agency (south of the city) to collect your motorcycle. Return to the hotel.

Overnight in Vancouver.

The route crosses beautiful Stanley Park before leaving Vancouver. Take time to admire the First Nations totem poles.

Head to Whistler, one of North America’s most famous ski resorts.

The spectacular Sea-to-Sky Highway follows Howe Sound to Squamish.

Optional stop at the famous Jack’s Bar (known from the series Virgin River).

Possible detour to Garibaldi Provincial Park before arriving in Whistler.

Overnight in Whistler.

Head east via the Sea-to-Sky Highway.

After Pemberton and Lillooet Lake, discover Joffre Lakes Provincial Park with its three glacial lakes of intense turquoise color.

Route 99 follows Duffey Lake toward Lillooet, then past Pavilion Lake and historic Hat Creek Ranch.

Join the Trans-Canada Highway near Cache Creek, then follow Kamloops Lake to the city of the same name.

Overnight in Kamloops.

Head to Clearwater, gateway to Wells Gray Provincial Park.

The dead-end road follows the Clearwater River, offering viewpoints and beautiful waterfalls such as Dawson Falls on the Murtle River.

The highlight awaits at the end: the spectacular Helmcken Falls.

Back in Clearwater, take the Yellowhead Highway north. Stop near Blue River and Mud Lake, home to the River Safari restaurant and bear-watching excursions.

Arrival in Valemount (or nearby Tête Jaune Cache).

Today’s stage is short. Take the opportunity to enjoy breakfast or a coffee at the foot of the impressive Mount Robson, at the café of the same name — a lovely spot with breathtaking views.

Hikers can venture into the park for a walk along Kinney Lake. The more adventurous may continue further to the shores of Berg Lake.

The Yellowhead Highway follows Moose Lake before entering Alberta, shortly before reaching the town of Jasper, in the heart of the magnificent national park of the same name.

Activities around town are plentiful: the aerial tramway to Whistlers Peak, beautiful lakes such as Patricia, Pyramid, Edith & Annette, or Emerald Pond along the Athabasca River.

Overnight in Jasper.

Take the extraordinary Icefields Parkway, lined with glaciers and viewpoints.

Stop at Athabasca Falls and Sunwapta Falls.

The Columbia Icefield Skywalk overlooks the glacier below. The impressive Athabasca Glacier can be approached on foot or aboard the Ice Explorer.

Among the many lakes, our favorite is the stunning Lake Peyto. Further south, admire Lake Bow.

Banff is a very pleasant town in the Canadian Rockies. Though quite upscale, it’s lovely to stroll around and enjoy some shopping.

The beautiful Lake Louise and Lake Moraine are unfortunately very busy; Lake Moraine is now closed to private vehicles, so use the shuttle services (reservation required). Lake Moraine is considered one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, with its surreal turquoise waters.

Emerald Lake, in Yoho National Park, is stunning and less crowded.

Hiking enthusiasts will be spoiled for choice in these two parks. The most adventurous can venture to remote and beautiful Shadow Lake, reflecting Mount Ball. Easier to access, Bourgeau Lake is smaller but equally beautiful.

Overnight in Banff.

This stage takes you to Waterton Lakes National Park, at the border with the USA.

You follow the valley of the Bow River before taking the scenic Kananaskis Trail, passing the Peter Lougheed Provincial Park (optional detour to the Kananaskis Lakes).

The route reaches Longview, about 50 miles from Calgary, capital of the Canadian Rockies.

Head toward Pincher Creek, then into Waterton Lakes National Park, bordering Montana.

The setting is magnificent, with the iconic Prince of Wales Hotel overlooking the lake. Keep your eyes open—wildlife, especially bears, are often spotted nearby.

You leave Canada to enter the USA.

Remember to calculate distances in miles and speed in miles per hour.

Head to Glacier National Park via the legendary Going-to-the-Sun Road (80 km), one of the most beautiful mountain roads in the country.

The park, located along the Continental Divide, features glaciers, rugged peaks, waterfalls, rivers, and postcard-perfect lakes such as Lake McDonald and Saint Mary Lake.

Exit the park via West Glacier, then arrival in Whitefish, a charming lakeside town.

Overnight in Whitefish.

After a final stroll through Downtown Whitefish, the route heads north toward Eureka, near the Canadian border.

Continue to Lake Koocanusa, then along the Kootenay River and the beautiful Kootenay Falls after Libby.

The itinerary crosses the forests of Kootenai and Kaniksu.

Enter Idaho before Bonners Ferry, then head to Sandpoint, on the shores of vast Lake Pend Oreille.

Sandpoint is a pleasant small town. Stroll along the main street and visit Beach Park, with marina, beach, and even a miniature Statue of Liberty.

Overnight in Sandpoint.

This long stage highlights scenic roads and wide-open spaces of northern Idaho and Washington State.

The route follows the Pend Oreille River, climbs toward the Little Pend Oreille Wildlife Refuge and Chewelah Mountain, crosses Flowery Trail Pass (1,233m), then descends to Chewelah.

Cross the Columbia River at Kettle Falls, then take the scenic road to Sherman Pass (1,699m) with beautiful views.

After a break in Republic, continue along the Okanogan River to the North Cascades National Park.

Arrival in charming Winthrop, with its Route 66 / Far West atmosphere.

Overnight in Winthrop.

Head to North Cascades National Park via the magnificent North Cascades Scenic Byway, reaching Washington Pass (1,669m).

Stop for stunning views, especially over turquoise Diablo Lake.

Descend toward Seattle, passing through charming Snohomish.

Arrival in Seattle via Kerry Park, in the Queen Anne district—arguably the best skyline view with Mount Rainier in the background.

Explore Pioneer Square and Pike Place Market.

Overnight in Seattle.

Return of the motorcycles during the day, then transfer to your hotel.

Birthplace of the Grunge movement (Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam...), Seattle is surrounded by water: Puget Sound and Lake Washington.

Besides North Cascades, two other national parks surround the city: Olympic National Park to the west and Mount Rainier National Park to the southeast.

The city is built on hills like San Francisco. The famous Space Needle offers panoramic views. Nearby, don’t miss the Chihuly Garden & Glass Museum.

The Museum of Pop Culture and the Public Library are also fascinating.

Overnight in Seattle.

Transfer to Seattle airport.

Return flight to Europe.
