The cradle of European civilization, Italy is a jewel. Rome, Florence, Venice, Siena, Pisa... Everywhere, traces of a unique historical, architectural and cultural heritage emerge, whether from Ancient Rome or the Renaissance. Its gastronomic legacy is just as rich and delicious: who doesn't regularly dream of a wood-fired pizza "like in Naples", or a good pasta dish, "Mamma" style, paired with a fine local wine: Chianti, Barolo, Brunello...

Italy is also blessed by the Gods of motorcycling. The north hides extraordinary itineraries, with roads and legendary passes. Like the legendary Stelvio, which every rider should cross at least once in a lifetime. A short distance to the east, the Dolomites  are our favorite. The colors and contrasts are incredible. 

You can access them from the Great Lakes, Milan, Verona or from Venice. Or from Innsbruck in nearby Austrian Tyrol, geographically and culturally close to the Italian South Tyrol. With unmissable motorcycle museums: Ducati in Bologna, Moto Guzzi in Mandelo del Lario on Lake Como, or MV Agusta near Milan. Piedmont, from France or Turin, also shines for passes and twisties! And what about Tuscany : no mountains here, but what a joy to ride among the vineyards. The south also offers some very beautiful itineraries, notably in the Abruzzo , or in Sicily, under the watch of Etna...
