Drive to Télouet in the High Atlas, 130 km from Marrakech. Located at 1,870 m altitude in the Draa-Tafilalet region, in Berber country. Its Kasbah once served as the residence of the Glaoui of Marrakech. The visit is dreamlike, with inner courtyards, finely carved arcades, and marble inlays of zellige tilework.

Drive to Aït Ben Haddou, whose Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is emblematic of pre-Saharan earthen architecture in southern Morocco. Scenes from Game of Thrones were filmed here. Overnight in Aït Ben Haddou.

Drive toward Jebel Toubkal, the massif that holds Morocco's highest peak—and all of North Africa—with its 4,167 m!

Arrival in Taliouine in the Souss Massa region. It's a lovely Berber town nestled in the Anti-Atlas. It's famous for its saffron fields, Morocco's true gold. You can visit a cooperative. The Kasbah and the souk are well known.

Arrival in Taroudant, nicknamed the "Little Marrakech". Its medina is worth the detour, surrounded by 7 km of ramparts punctuated by 130 towers! Take a horse-drawn carriage ride through town... Overnight in Taroudant.

Drive to Tafraoute, where you'll enjoy an exceptional couscous! Nestled in the heart of the Anti-Atlas mountains, the town is renowned for spectacular rock formations, traditional rammed-earth houses, and lush palm groves. Tafraoute is also famous for its almond trees in bloom, which put on a magnificent show in spring.

A few kilometers from the village, visit the famous Blue Rocks, painted by Belgian artist Jean Verame. Drive to Tizzourgane and overnight there.

In the morning, take one of the most beautiful mountain roads in Morocco before crossing the suburbs of Agadir. Arrival in Taghazout, about 50 km from Agadir on the Atlantic Ocean.

Once known for its squid and loved by hippies, this quiet fishing village has kept its charm, with a maze of alleys leading to the beach and a seafront promenade lined with cafés. Taghazout owes much of its reputation to surfing, which attracts many travelers to the region. Overnight in Taghazout.

On the way to the Paradise Valley, in the mountain range overlooking Agadir. This superb valley partially includes the Tamraght River valley, which flows through the foothills of the Western High Atlas. The area is known for its natural pools and waterfalls.

After an exceptional lunch, drive to Essaouira, the "Pearl of the Atlantic". The former Mogador dazzles with its ramparts and its medina, which you will visit, before enjoying a beautiful sunset from the very colorful fishing port. Overnight in Essaouira.

In the morning, visit a cooperative where products made from argan oil, a regional specialty, are produced.

Then head to Lalla Takerkoust Lake via a lovely bucolic road. This large artificial lake, 7 km long, lies about 40 km from Marrakech. It's a true oasis of tranquility, away from the bustling life of the "Red City". The site offers breathtaking panoramas, especially in winter or early spring, when the Atlas peaks are snow-capped in the background... Overnight nearby.

On the way to the beautiful Ourika Valley for a picturesque lunch. Although the area has become quite touristy due to its proximity to Marrakech (one of the most popular day trips), Ourika still holds lovely surprises: views over the High Atlas, its Berber villages, and the pretty Setti Fatma waterfalls.

Return to Marrakech around mid-afternoon and end of this wonderful Royal Enfield motorcycle journey in Morocco.
